1. Can I get a discount from my insurance company?
   Yes, most insurance companies do offer an insurance discount. The discount amount depends on your carrier. 
   
   
2. Are installations different from company to company? 
   Yes, the installation of a security system is only as good as the knowledge of the people installing/selling the system. 
   
   
3. Will my system come with a warranty?
   Yes, Toca alarm offers 1 year warranty on all security and fire alarms.
   
   
4. Is there an advantage to local monitoring versus out of state? 
   Yes, the further the signal has to travel, the more chance it has to be interrupted.
   
   
5. Does my system test regularly?
   Yes! Most companies program to test every 30 days or not at all. Toca Alarm will program your security system to send in a daily or every 7 days test timer.
   
   
6. Does the system meet UL standards? 
   Yes, Toca Alarm installs UL equipment only.
   
   
7. What should I expect to pay for monitoring of my security system? 
   The average monitoring price is $18-$24. Be extremely cautious for rates under $18 as it usually means inadequate monitoring.
   
   
8. What happens if my phone line is cut? 
   We enable a feature called phone line monitoring. The system will sound if line is cut and system is armed but we will not receive a signal unless the system is equipped with a cell backup unit.
   
   
9. Can my system be monitored without a phone line? 
   Yes, your system can be monitored without a phone line with the purchase of a primary cellular unit. 
   
   
10. Does Toca offer more than alarm systems?
    Yes we offer many services and products.
    
    
11. Are security systems pet friendly? 
    Yes, with today’s technology, there are motions with pet immunity up to 100lbs available for installation.
    
    
12. Can I use my system while on premises? 
    Yes, there is a feature which you arm system in stay mode which bypasses the motions and allows you to walk around the premises.
    
    
13. Can Toca Alarm monitor my existing system? 
    In most cases Toca can reprogram your existing system to be monitored. But there is always the chance that the system is locked out by original alarm company and no other company can monitor without replacing the control panel. In most cases, only the control panel and keypad has to be replaced and existing equipment is normally compatible and not in need of replacing.
